Through this ceremonial event, the Austin Firefighters Association proudly supports assistance for Dove Springs residents who were affected by the fire at Stassney Woods.
Austin Firefighters Relief & Outreach Fund
The Austin Firefighters Relief & Outreach Fund helps firefighters and other public safety employees along with their families who have suffered from a catastrophe or a major injury and/or illness.
The Austin Firefighters Fund provides a small amount of money to these people which allows them to start recovering from their loss.
Austin Fire Museum
The Austin Fire Museum preserves the history and traditions of the Austin Fire Department. The Austin Fire Museum is located in Austin’s Central Fire Station No. 1 at 401 East 5th Street in the heart of downtown Austin, Texas. The firehouse is Austin’s busiest station, which includes Quint 1, Engine 1, Engine 13, Austin EMS Medic 6, and the AFD Shift Commander. The station was built in 1938 and is a piece of history in and of itself.
Emergency Service Pipes And Drums Association (ESPADA)
The Emergency Service Pipes And Drums Association (ESPADA) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that was originally created to honor fire fighters, police, and paramedics that died in the line of duty. We have expanded to be a part of the vibrant music culture of Austin and the Central Texas area. Our band performs in parades, festivals and community events. Our performers have also been memorable parts for many people's weddings, funerals and other celebrations.
Auxiliary to Austin Firefighters Association, Local 975
Auxiliary to Local 975 is a service organization with the objective to cooperate with, support, and contribute to the accomplishments and betterment of our firefighters.
